Well, let me start off my answer by telinlg you there is no simple answer. Pink Floyd is a diverse band, and different albums (hell, almost every song) seems to have a certain feel to it. I would recommend you first listen to The Wall through seeing as you already have Dark Side of the Moon. It is not my favorite by them, but it is easier to listen to than other albums. I say this because other albums have jams that are over 10 minutes that aren't always appreciated by a first time listener. (I always had trouble listening to long songs for the first time.) The Wall gives you more of a dramatic fell that is present in their other music, but is clearly more present here. After that, I would move to Wish You Were Here. This has two different roughly 12 minute jams that sound beautiful. I find the second jam (Shine on You Crazy Diamond parts VI-IX) to be a little to heavy for what it is, but still amazing. After that, I would finally move onto Animals. Other than Sheep, I didn't really enjoy this one till the second listen. This album has some pretty crazy trippy stuff on it. Other than 2 good but seeming misplaced 1:25 songs that open and close the album, it consists of 3 long jams that each have their own recognizable sound. Dogs starts out with an accoustic intro that draws you into the song, as towards the middle it takes a psychedelic turn into a sad seeming form of music. As for Pigs , it starts out with an amazing spacey instrumental intro that is probably my favorite part on the album. It then turns into a song of disgust towards the upper levels of the business scale, as the song seems to believe they have gotten everything just handed to them and through taking advantage of others. And then there is finally Sheep . Ah Sheep, my favorite song my first times through the album (though it has turned to Pigs). Sheep is a more angry shout of fear from those who are taken advantage of in the business world. It is probably the heaviest Pink Floyd song. A Piper at the Gates of Dawn and A Saucerful of Secrets are two albums from the Syd Barrett era of Pink Floyd. I couldn't really describe those too you has much more than different. One could love those two albums and hate the rest, and Vica versa. Atom Heart Mother is probably my favorite pre-Dark Side album. The main feature of it is a 23 minute brass jam (with of course their instruments blended in) that is amazing. The other songs are some pretty cool sounds (If is sort of a failed acoustic attempt in my opinion) from a developing Pink Floyd. As for Meddle, I never really got too into it, but it is enjoyable.. The first song on the Album, One of These Days, is pure amazement. It is a violent instrumental (other than a violent distorted cry One of these days, I'm going to cut you into little pieces) that blows your mind. Lie down and listen to it in pitch black (being stoned might help, I never got into that) and it is so much fun to listen too. All songs in between that and Echoes (the ending track) sound like crap to me. As for echoes, I love it now but only got into it because people kept telinlg me how great it was online.
